Ebenezer Jones - born 1817 - Where are you?
« on: Friday 26 February 10 15:13 GMT (UK) »
Hello all,

Seeking any information on the above - born 11 March 1817 (Baptised on 23/2/1817) at Llanallgo - seems to have disappeared without trace. Abode shown as Tyn  yr Allt.

Parents were William Jones and Mary Williams (she was from Penrhoslligwy about 2 miles from Llanallgo and he originated from Llangristilous). Married at Llanallgo 31 March 1809.

Other members of the family are as follows -
John Williams - born c1810 - Have traced his line but can't see any birth or baptism details.
William William - born 15 Feb 1812 (Baptised 23/2/1812) - Abode - Tyn yr Allt
Lydia Williams - born 5 Oct 1814 - Abode - Tyn yr Allt
Margared Jones - born 27 August 1828 - Abode - Moelfra

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Alan

There is a mention of an Ebenezer Jones, born on Anglesy about 1818 in the 1851 census and married to Ann.  They were living in Broughton (Moss)  near Wrexham.  He was a shoemaker

Hi,

After a lengthy search, I have finally been able to establish that Ebenezer died 12 Nov 1842 at Llanallgo, but are still looking for Lydia Williams (or Jones) who was born 5 Oct 1814, and William Williams born 5 Feb 1812 - can anyone trace them?

Thanks in anticipation

Alan
