PAUL memorial stones in Gallipoli
« on: Saturday 27 February 10 16:18 GMT (UK) »
A few years ago on a visit to the cemeteries at Gallipol I saw two PAUL grave stones.
No.1 " Believed to be buried in this cemetery, 871 Private Lawrence James PAUL 4th. bn. Australian Infantry 6/9 August 1915 age 31"
No.2 looks like 1391 Private G PAUL but my photo of this stone is out of focus.
I photographed them as Paul is a family name but I have no connection otherwise.
If anyone is interested I can supply a copy. Humphpaul
