I'm sure you're right.  Looking at it now, matters are probably confused by a loop coming up from a letter on the line below.  A pity the extract was so small.

If you look closely, I think there is a slightly arched line above the initial letter which is obscured by the line of the page. It would be nice to have another capital T to compare it.
