Peterborough British School
« on: Sunday 14 March 10 11:53 GMT (UK) »
This maybe a tall ask but you never know what info is out there. A relative of mine William Francis Pollard  on the 1861 census is a schoolmaster at The British School in Peterborough. Will there be any records for this school accessible on line does anyone know? Whats more interesting about William is that in 1841 he was an inmate at Cornwall county Gaol and was later acquitted. Would like to find out as much about his journey as I can. Thanks Lynn

Peterborough was in Northants, not Hunts,  so it's probably Northants records office that will hold any records. Available online? - probably not.
