from Kent to Kohima anybody read or got a copy can you tell me what it says D company 4th Royal West Kents or my grandad George Cherry .

I cannot help you in any way with regard to the book, but if you are based in The British Isles, you should be able to get it from any Library, they may have to order it for you.

It was published in 1951, by Aldershot, Gale and Polden . It was written by Major E.B Stanley and Major A T Tillotson.

You could buy it online from Bookbinder.com

I should try the library first though.

I have a copy of the book what specifically do you want to know although I guess that will have found it by now
