Deciphering Scottish record names
« on: Monday 22 March 10 16:31 GMT (UK) »
Hi. Could you please let me know what you think the names are on the following certificates?

The first one looks like 'Thomas Pickerton, reputed father, (deceased)' and 'Rose Ann McGaw, housekeeper, (deceased)':

And the next one looks like 'Alexander Hunter, Seaman, (deceased)' and 'Rose Hunter (deceased), M.S. Mc?' - seems like it ends with an 'enna', but there's no 'k' for Mckenna?:

You've got the first one right.
