Hugh Harte is my great grandfather! His eldest daughter, Charlotte, is my Mema (maternal grandmother). She moved to the US after serving as a wireless operator in WWII. My mother, Pauline, is oldest of four (Adrienne, Rowland, and Leslie) and I am one of seven total grandchildren.
Most of us live around Maryland, US, but I have been over to England to visit some of the family and that is how I got interested in genealogy. If you could provide me any information about the Hartes then it would be immensely helpful as I attempt the daunting task of exploring my family tree.
Much thanks,

~Mia

Hi there,
My sisters dad came from that area Michael Harte. I remember staying in Inniscrone in the 1980's whilst he and my mum went to visit an uncle of his nearby ( brave age of a boy apparently). Don't know if the name fits in anywhere but if it does let me know - he would have been born in the 1940 / early 1950's and i mind him talking about being taught by Christian Brothers at school. My sister was too young to recall.
