A previously charged for resource has now been made available free of charge on the Internet.

Monumental Inscriptions along with photographs of the gravestones, for the parishes of Borgue, Buittle, Colvend & Southwick, Parton, Rerrick, Tongland and Twynholm all in the Stewartry of Kirkcudbright, are available at http://www.kirkyards.co.uk/.

The collection took two years to build up and was made during 2001 and 2002. I hope the community find the website useful.

Wow what a brilliant site! Although none were relvant for me. There are some great parish articles and my G.G.G. Grandfather is mentioned in one!
