Yes it was very sad, just how sad has been obvious since I found out about his brother and sisters.  I have to tell my sisters and brother yet but they will be hugely interested in Dads family, thanks.

Family of Henry Arkwright Cunliffe

I was fascinated to read an old post related to this man 

He was my husbands Grandfather, my husbands Mother being Isabella Cunliffe born September 1919. She immigrated to New Zealand via Canada. We have regular contact with Paul Coupe and his family, and would love to get in contact with some of the other family. Isabella and Elsie searched for John Henry and it was generally thought he was killed in the war. Isabella passed away in Rotorua, New Zealand in 2003.
