Hi

I came across your post on Google search when I was looking for a family member on my Ancestry Sewell-Charlesworth Tree: John Charlesworth: 1891-1954; he was born in Hepworth, Yorkshire. He is the son of Swallow Charlesworth and Hannah BEEVER - Swallow is my 4th cousin 3x removed. Swallow: Birth 14 APR 1855 • Hepworth, Yorkshire West Riding, and Death 29 FEB 1928, Huddersfield, Yorkshire West Riding. Hannah: Birth ABT 1855, Hepworth, Yorkshire West Riding, Death SEP 1903. Her father was Charles Beever. Unfortunately I have not done any research on the Beever family so I am unable to give you any more information (I will do some now though). However, Hannah and Swallow had children: 7 boys and one girl. I have information on most of them on my Ancestry tree. My Sewell-Charlesworth Tree is on Public display so you should be able to see it. My name is ian_sewell. All the best. Ian (Scarborough, North Yorkshire - originally from Batley in the West Riding).  :)

Hello Linda

I hope that this note is still of interest to you.

Members of the Beever family moved from Kirkburton to Scholes, Hepworth, Ingbirchworth, Penistone and Thurlstone in the 18th and 19th century, and there are still many descendants in these areas. Others moved overseas to Australia and Canada. If you wish, I can send copies of the family tree; can you give me a particular Beever as a starting point please, and send you email address?

Regards,  Kenneth Clark

Kenneth, I don't know if you noticed but Enoch 01 hasn't posted on the board since 2010, so you may not get a reply. Then, again you could be lucky.  ;)
