Can you say where you got the information about the medals from, and also that he was in the AVC in WW1? Can you post a link to his WW1 medal card for example?

Also some information about Sydney would be useful, such as his year of birth.

Okay, Sydney Hall Harker was born in 1885, Harry Musgrave harker was born 1880, both in Carlisle, Cumberland. Below, with the grace of god, will be medal records for both...

I am not up on uniforms but maroon is the authorized regimental color of the R.A.V.C., so the collar and stable bets appear to be consistent with the color of their stable belt, i.e., maroon, navy blue, and yellow. I have attached an image of more recent A.V.C. stable belts as a comparison. The pattern is not the same but the colors appear to be similar.

The patina on the central buckle is amazing, how could anyone touch it, it seems so precariously viable to damage, then, the new ones seem to have lost their significance and importance somehow, by just being new, shame...thank you for your picture. ;)
