Passenger List Help
« on: Monday 19 April 10 19:49 BST (UK) »
I am searching for my grandfather Joseph Quirk who was on the SS Marburn in 1923 going from Glasgow to Quebec. He had quite a large family with him. His wife,  Christine Quirk with 6 sons and 1 daughter came back to Scotland in 1924/25 but I don't know exactly when. My grandfather stayed in Canada but we do not know anything more of what happened to him. Does anybody have any access to any of the ships passenger lists?  Thanks

Hi bestdriver,

Welcome to rootschat. I think I've found them arriving Aug 10 1924 & their destination is Red Deer Alberta.

Lisa found them arriving on the SS Marburn August 1924 at the port of Quebec
Form 30A shows their destination contact in Red Deer was Rev. Andrew Macdonald.
