Would someone be so kind as to do a 1901 Census Lookup for me?  Dundee area.

Thomas Allan (b. circa 1876 where?) and wife Allison Hunter Lees (b 1874 Edinburgh) and their children. 

I am looking for birthplace of Thomas Allan and also trying to establish birthdates for his children.

Thomas and Alison had the following children - I just don't know when and where they were born.

Janet b. 1894 Edinburgh
Thomas
Isabella
Margaret
Mary

Is the 1910 Census available for searches?

This is the only Thomas Allan with a wife Alison that I can find in 1901 but they do not completely match your profile and there is no daughter Janet.  What were his parents names on his marriage cert

Only his mother is named on his marriage certificate.  On prior Censuses his mother is listed as "unmarried".  His mother's name is Barbara Allan.  I believe Thomas was probably illigitimate.

Is the 1910 Census available for searches yet?

At least I know the birth dates of three of the kids now.  Thanks again.

MJ, from the other post and the reference to 60 Annfield Road, could this be Thomas in 1901, not with wife Alison (you would have to check the original image to confirm marital status):

Address: 60 Annfield Road, St Peter, Liff and Benvie

They are both still at that address in 1901 - no other occupants shown

Annfield Rd was in the registration district of St Peter the Civil Parish Liff & Benvie and the county of  Angus (Forfar)

MJ - have you not looked up the marriage to establish what date it took place??

Can't see anything obvious like you Carole for wife Alison and daughter Janet - although I am not sure what age Alison would have been (born Midlothian?).
