The second one could well be the "Wild West" pleasure ground at Morecambe, but I'm a bit thrown by the car.  Can you tell us when the photos were taken?

I'm finding it difficult to make anything out of the letters on the buildings in the background.

The first is definitely Marvels Amusement Park in Scarborough - closed about 1999-2000.

If this is Morecambe, then it's on the front almost opposite the Midland Hotel.  Nickel & Dime sounds good for a Wild West place!  :)

Goodness!  Is that a circa 1958 1959 Edsel station wagon in picture 2?  If so, it was very cruel of Ford to inflict their mistake on our British cousins.
