There are some available here from the 1800's and earlier:  http://www.state.nj.us/state/darm/links/databases.html  That's pretty much all there is, as far as indexes that cover the whole state.

If  transcriptions  and indexes of birth and  baptismal records in New Jersey would  be of any help, I have tracked down a bunch of resources for  these on  my free birth and baptismal records and information page  for the USA.  Just click on the link for New Jersey in the top menu.

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~thecohens/birthindexes-usa.html

And please do feel free to make suggestions for improving the page and report  any errors or broken links privately so we keep this thread on topic.

Thanks

Another page worth checking out for ideas is Joe Beine's Death Indexes site which lists online resources for  Death    Indexes, Records and Obituaries for New Jersey on the following page:

http://deathindexes.com/newjersey/index.html

Some resources listed there have marriage and birth announcements as well.

Don't lose hope if you can't find people in that collection, because I have people from other states who I know died/married/were born in those time frames but didn't show up in there.  I did have a few happy finds, though.
