However, the one of Susan Sarandon was a LOT better.

UN BE LIEVABLE!!!

she doesn't lift a finger to find any records and gets back to the pilgrim fathers via the salem witch hunts and the gold rush

I never knew genealogy could be so mindlessly easy and personally unrewarding

hee...yes...I knew the Un. be. LIEVABLE would be commented on.  Really bad that show...the next one is better...Susan Sarondon (sp?) is a bit more genuine...and she gets her son to look up records for her!  ;D

God I hope they get better.

Not a fan of S&TC, never likely to be after that little charade.

It's just like WOW. OH. MY. GOOOODDD! UN. BE. LIEVE. ABLE.

Yeah, that's how I felt too.

Interesting subject matter though, the gold rush and the Salem witch trials. But I prefer our theme tune.

I thought the actual history and what they found for her was great and perhaps it is just me I thought her reactions were not to bad after all Americans are not as reserved as us Brits !

Here, here Alan

Just watched it on BBC IPlayer and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Not a fan of her, but I thought she came across well and was very enthusiastic.

The Gold Rush & Witchhunts very interesting. Her family history was already mapped out to a great degree already. She had the early settlers and Matthew Pinsent & Boris Johnston have royalty.

Best Regards

Ron
