Hi, I'm joining this conversation a long time after the original thread, but hoping someone is still interested and can help me!

I'm researching the Duthies and am curious why the birth year of 1821 is considered incorrect for George Duthie. The OPR Burial Register sheet seems to clearly have '1821' written at the top. I might be misunderstanding something but hope someone can clarify this.

A relative and I are writing a history of the Duthie family in New Zealand - we're descendants of George and Jean's son David and would love to make contact with anyone who knows more about the Duthies in Scotland.
