Cheers Alison

I don't think we can treat any family tree out of Ireland as being gospel, especially with the limited records available.  I see Arthur Andrews married 3 times, just to make up for Adelaide and Eva not marrying.

I think my mother's side of the family would be easier as they were from Buckinghamshire.

Thanks again

Graeme

Hello deburgo.
Yes he's definitely James not John. I think he's called Jem and his son, James. I will try to upload a picture of James the pilot.

Also I have found pics of most of Jem's children on findmypast:
http://www.findmypast.co.uk/search/merchant-navy-seamen    - I am not on FindMyPast now though.
Henry is the only one who didn't go to sea, and I think died age 34.

Hi deBurgo

I have just seen your post and v interested to know if you can tell me anything about William Richard b. 1816 and Susan. I have suspected her name is Creese but cannot find anything on her in my searches. Their daughters Mary Anne and Susan, who m. John Gray and James Hodgins respectively are my great grandmothers. I have a lot on the family after WilliamRichard came to Ireland but not much before and nothing on Susan
