1891 - 76 Clare Road Grangetown Cardiff lookup request
« on: Monday 17 May 10 06:00 BST (UK) »
Would very much appreciate knowing who was living there in 1891 and 1901.

I do not have easy access to data except through names and cannot even get the appropriate district to do a street search.

Frances Thomas was there in February 1895 but cannot match the name to census. I was hoping to see more Thomas names in 1891 or 1901 so I can link them to my family.
Pembrokeshire - Brown, Rees, Thomas, James, Nedahl, Noot
Somerset - Brown, Parfitt, Daniell, Wheeler, Clissold, Indoe
Wiltshire - Collins

76 isn't there in 1891, there's a gap between 66 and 106. Also some houses which are being built.

1901 there's a family names Bowling, headed by Nicholas, a shipwright, from Kent RG13/4987 folio 183 pg 4. No Thomas families on either side.

She may have been lodging there in 1895 and moved on.

Many thanks for the response.
Not the answer I wanted, but it still tells me a little bit about what the families might have been doing, and hopefully will link to some other discovery later on, as so often happens.
Thanks for helping with another puzzle in my quest.
