 ???  If there is anybody that can help me with my research on Kennedy Ancestors, please respond or send me a message.  I have tried a lot of websites and to have a researcher paid to get the answers for me is so expensive.  I need help with my Kennedy Ancestors.  Please feel free to contact me.

Research Kennedy Ancestors

I need help to find information about my Kennedy Ancestors.  This is what I have so far:

My grandfather's names are John Hunter Kennedy.  The head of my Kennedy Family Tree in South Africa is also John Hunter Kennedy. born in 1803, Aberdeen Scotland.  He came to the Cape, South Africa as a young man and got married on 7/1/1834 in Clanwilliam, Western Cape, South Africa to Anna Maria van Zyl.  He was a farmer.  John Hunter Kennedy died on 11/4/1857 at Koornhuis, Namakwaland, Western Cape, South Africa. 

His parents were Archibald Kennedy and Catherine Hunter. 

This is the only information I have.  I struggle to find information as I can't subscribe to any website.  I would appreciate any help I can get.

Do you have his baptism to Archibald and Catherine? Are you hoping to trace their marriage and go back further?

Hi Ben (coombs)

The information about his parents, Archibald and Catherine, I found that in our South African Genealogical Registers.  Only the names of the parents are listed and he is listed as b1 (first child)

I could not found any information as to where the parents were.  It only states that he was born in Aberdeen, Scotland.  I am going to try and find out more information about his wife. 

I can put the South African Family Tree on a Excel Spreadsheet.  How do I link it to the site?

This is a strange one. The only references that I can find to actual named relationships are on trees in Ancestry. I can find them no where else.
