Migky, where did you hide the reports?  ;D  ;D

And where's this pub Davidjnr is after, the Rucklands? Its a bit of an odd name, and I can't find anything in any of the directories thats anything like  ???
Nearest I found was the Rock Inn on Hyde Rd, Gorton (1881 census - can't find it later than 1911), and a Lord Raglan on Embden St, Hulme.
And theres a Rockman Engineering Co on Buxton St, Ardwick. But obviously, that's not a pub.

Completely lost!
 :) Barbara

I went to Mansfield Street school in 1966 it then changed it's name to Medlock Primary.
I know the school there now on Wadeson Road has got Admissions Books only, they don't have any records of school reports.
You can phone and make an appointment to have a look at the Admissions Books.

Thanks to everyone for your continued support  :)

My Grandparents and aunts and uncles lived halfway down Coral Street from the main road Downing Street on the left five doors from the corner shop 'Fanny Eastwoods'. What a great name for a shop!

The road on the left was Mansfield Street which led to the school. My eldest aunts and uncles went to the school from 1936-1952.

My dad went from 1950-1952 until the family moved into South Manchester.
