St Chad's Holt PR - Bithell

Hello

Job Bithell's mother was Phoebe Bithell, christened 11th July 1784 at St Chad's Church, Holt, daughter of Thomas and Mary Bithell.

Please can someone look up a marriage of Thomas Bithell and Mary ? and whether Phoebe has any brothers or sisters? The Farndon PRs are on the new LDS site, but Holt doesn't seem to be so well covered.

not sure if Joseph is yours because it doesn't give a mother's name and this looks like the marriage of Thomas and Mary, of course Thomas could have been married before :-\

Hi,

The christenings are from 'England & Wales Christening Records, 1530-1906' and the marriage is from 'England & Wales Marriages, 1538-1940'. There are no images and no other details given, sorry.

On a marriage  this early it`s doubtful it will  have these details. The best you can hope for are names of witnesses

I have just found out I am related to the Bithell’s from Holt, Great grandfather was Henry Bithell/Ellis born 1866 to John Bithell & Mary Price, siblings Alfred & Alice, does anyone have this family in their tree, or any info as to why my great grandfather suddenly became an Ellis in 1897 ?
