Welcome, ladie_arkie  :)

It would be a good idea to post where your family lived as that anyone reading the topic will be more likely to know if they could be connected or have further information for you.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

 8)  Just this morning I got some information to help.  They moved so  much I had no other information.

Charles Roy Garvin (born: Wisconsin) and Adora May (Clintock)  had Orville Leroy Garvin on July 21, 1896 in Castana, Iowa (Monona County).  Also: Delbert, Vincent, George Lawrence, Mamie (Perkins), Neva (Brewer), Elva (Ayers)
Orville Garvin died 12-6-1971 in Ventura, CA/ buried Ivy Lawn Memorial Park.

Orville Leroy Garvin married Venita Agnes Wolfe (born: Casper, WY 4-12-1920) 11-18-1937 in MidWest City (Natrona County) Wyoming.
Children of this marriage:  Beverly Jean 6-18-1941, Charles Raymond 5-15-1943, James Edward, Joseph 12-26-1947 (Gooding County--St Valentines Hospital), Elva May 4-13-45, Ronald Dean 7-13-47 (?) Rita Ann 8-31-?? Janet Lee 9-23-52

possible Father: Charles Roy Garvin family came from England and Mother: Adora May came from France.
This is what I have so far.
