Mixbury paish records
« on: Sunday 06 June 10 18:08 BST (UK) »
I was wondering if some can help me knock down a brickwall I have come up against, I am trying to find my 4x Great grandfather Benjamin Collins when and where he was born, I know he married in 1794 Buckinghamshire  moved to Mixbury Oxfordshire and had 4 children and died in Brackley, Oxford in 1841 before the 1841 census so I don't know how old he was.

Can anyone help me knock down this brickwall  please

Hi lyn,

I have only just seen this - My 4x G Grandfather was also Benjamin Collin from Mixbury!
He married Susannah Neale on 10 November 1794 at Water Stratford in Buckinghamshire. I have found 3 of their children - Benjamin, William and John (my 3x G Grandfather) born in Mixbury.

Also Mary Collins.  Bap. 31 July 1796. @ Mixbury, to Benjamin & Susannah.

Susan Collins  - Buried - 24 Dec 1805 @ Mixbury.  No age given.

No children born after 1805 to Benj. & Susannah, so I suspect Susan & Sussanah are one and the same. ;)
