CROXFORD family history

I started tracing back this branch of my family ancestry through the relative Victor Croxford who according to the 1911 census was born 1880 in Eton Wick, Buckinghamshire, England, UK.

However further research has produced rather confusing results.

Here's what I've got to so far:

1911 Census

Head:  Victor Croxford, age 29 (b. 1880), born in Eton Wick, Bucks.

Spouse and Children also listed.

1901 Census:

No results found from search.  . This is rather strange.  .

1891 Census:

Head:  Isaac Lamb (b. 1843)
Spouse:  Leddiard [Lamb] (b. 1843)

Child: Alfred Croxford (b. 1878)
Child: Victor Croxford (b. 1880)

Not sure why him and his brother are listed with their surname of Croxford, however their listed parents have the surname of Lamb.  .

1881 Census:

Head:  James Croxford (b. 1833)
Spouse:  Lidia [Croxford] (b. 1838)

Child: Sarah Croxford (b. 1870)
Child: Lidia Croxford (b. 1874)
Child: Rachael Croxford (b.1875)
Child: Alfred Croxford (b. 1878)
Child: Victor Croxford (b. 1880)

This seems to make sense on its own, but not with the results of the 1891 census.  .

Hopefully someone can advice on what's going on here, it certainly confusing me!

Looks as if Lydia's first husband, James Croxford dies, and she remarried to a Isaac Lamb

In 1901 he is at RG13 1174 166 6, living at Stanwell Middx
with Isaac and Lydia - under surname Lamb
