I don't know much about tracing NZ families as all mine are in the UK but wondered if anyone had seen this in the Dominion Post and if we can be of any assistance?

In 1909 an Isabella Jane Cook married Arthur Enos Patterson  1909/4261

In 1929 Jean Patterson married George Homer Evans.
Her death is shown at BDM as
1994/55131   Evans    Jean    8 December 1909  (Birth date matches record above)
but no transcription of headstone available at

George Homer Evans died 1967 and also buried at Tuatapere,
but again no transcription available  ::)

So many of the records seem linked to Southland area I wonder if the person contact Southland NZSG they may have families who are researching the Cook family or out branches
