Wiggy :D

I have followed my lessons so far  8).......isn't it great when the instructions are so easy to follow, better than reading a manual, and waiting patiently for the next lesson. :D

Cheers

Hmmm - not having any luck so far - found the 'Annotate' and found the  'add arrow' - but it didn't stick - even when I saved.  Well actually - I couldn't even get an arrow to go near where I wanted it!
Then the 'Edit'  in the tool bar flashed at me - and I found another thing at the bottom of the 'edit' menu and it said add characters - including an arrow - So I tried that way - but it didn't want to do that either - don't think I will get my Mac drivers licence this way!!

I will not be beaten - I'm going to 'try, try, try again' - (Robert the Bruce)

Trouble with manuals is - I can never find what it is I'm trying to find - if you see what I mean!

I can't stick my picture on the help line ans say this is what I want.

Seriously now!  Koromo - I'm trying again!!

Yee Haa   I've done it!  Look at this then!    Ruined the picture but done what I want - now I'd like to add things without having to drag right across the picture - just a little arrow in situ not all the way - can I do that Koroma??

And one other thing while I'm about it - I'd like to make them smaller too please!!

Bravo, Wiggy!

I draw an arrow by holding down the mouse at the beginning of where I want it to go, and dragging then releasing it. Once I have it looking like the example below, I can move the grey dots at each end to where I want them to be.

Koromo - give yourself top marks for teaching long distance!  ;D ;D ;D

Brilliant - I CAN DO this!!   Now to make it smaller - I've managed to 'slimline' the arrows thank goodness - now for the picture itself!

Good on ya Wiggy, sorry I'm not with your prog' but at least I can help KHP.

unfortunately it seems as though you can do nothing with this arrow/shape but if you look at your layers you will see that you have a new layer together with a vector mask.

To move or resize this go to your edit menu and from the dropdown box choose "Free transform path - pic' 1

You now have the path selected with resizing handles (pic 2) so all you need do is use these handles to resize, rotate or move the  shape.

Once you are happy with everything press enter on your keyboard and flatten the layers
