     I came across this thread while looking for something else. I've attached 2 PDFs showing burials taken from Blackhill Burial Records which may be of use. These are the only name versions shown in the registers.

Oh wow thank you pb3, a few names light up on the Doran side so it could be a start. The 1858 marriage didn't say either parent were deceased so it could be promising.

Apparently the family bible (I have not sighted it) from one of the ones born in Ireland, had entries back to 1850's and made reference to home being Carrickmacross Co. Monaghan Ireland.

I have written to St Joseph Catholic Church but records were not kept until after my lot were born so nothing from that avenue  :(

If only I could find exactly where the kids were born or the parents marriage/death  ???
