Offer: Lane End Wesleyan Day School Records
« on: Friday 18 June 10 07:58 BST (UK) »
Hello,

I have recently been leant the Lane End Wesleyan Day School Log Book 1867-1915 (which I have photocopied) with lots of names mentioned, common ones being Avery, Bird, Cutler, Davies, Ellis, Gray, Harris, House, Jarvis, Line, Page, Plumridge, Rose, Smith, Stone and Wright.

I have indexed these names and if you see a name you know on the index below, please send me a Personal Message and I would be happy to give you the full entry.

Matt

Hi Dawn,

This isn't a published book, a lady I know from Lane End who was closely linked to the Methodist Church salvaged this when the Church was being revamped in 1981. A whole bundle of letters and books relating to the church and the school were saved from a binbag and the lady kindly leant me a transcript from the School Log Book, transcribed partially by Sidney Smith in 1974.

I decided that I would photocopy the log book that was leant to me to see if anybody had any relations who attended the Wesleyan school... So I offered on here  :)
