William Blease and Annie Evans
« on: Saturday 19 June 10 22:26 BST (UK) »
Hi all

Please can somebody help me if possible as I have hit a brick wall.

I am trying to trace the marriage record of my great grandma and grandad, William Blease and Annie Evans. William was born about 1854 and died in 1909. I have not been able to even find the birth record of Annie Evans but know that she died in 1943 after getting married a second time to a Mr Smith.

The couple lived in Northwich, Cheshire but I dont even know where they were born. I have really struggled with this which is why I am desperate for help.

Thanks,

Adam.

P.S - I know Annie's second husband was Harry Smith and that they got married in 1910.

Hello
There are 2 deaths of a William Blease in 1909:

William Blease age 56 at Northwich in Mar Q (Northwich vol 8a Page 201)
William Henry Blease age 47 at Bucklow in Dec Q (Bucklow vol 8a Page 112)

2 births from FREEBMD:
William Blease born Northwich 1851 (Mar Q) (Northwich vol 19 Page 24)
William Henry Blease born Northwich 1855 in Dec Q (Northwich vol 8a Page 226)

In 1901 census there is a 48 year old general labourer William Blease at Northwich.

William Blease died in NORTHWICH, not Nantwich.

In particular it is his marriage to Annie Smith that I am trying to find.

Adam
