Hi im looking for the history of my family of the Whipp family from England they moved to Australia i think around the 1920's. I think my great grand fathers name was Frederick Whipp who had 4 children they moved to north Fremantle where they lived for most of there lives. My grand fathers siblings moved all round Australia they have all died there names are Thomas, Wynn and my grand fathers name is XXX  hes in XXX and still alive and Thomas lived in Sydney and Wynn in Melbourne. i cant remember my grand fathers other brothers name but he also lived in Melbourne.

As I also found outr you have to look up people well into your past history.

Your great grandfather moved from England to north frementle in the 1920's, is that correct??
His childrens names were Thomas Wynn and your grandfather plus one other you dont remember the name of, is that right???

That is correct they moved here im thinking around that time but could have been here earlier than that they were here when my grand father was born.

William B Whipp   born 1901   died ???            (fred sibling)

Their parents were Elizabeth Moore and Thomas Whipp

John wm Whipp  born 1863    died 1934  halifax  (thomas sibling)
Elizabeth Whipp   born 1868  died 1961   halifax   (thomas sibling)
Thomas Whipp     born 1869   died 1909   halifax

there parents were Mally and James Whipp

First his Next of Kin is Frederick and second it is a possible wife??

Both FLORENCE and FRED were cremated at Fremantle.

WHIPP, FLORENCE ANNE, aged 85. Died 1986. Address 1 French Rd. Melvill. Ashes scattered Fremantle

WHIPP, FRED. aged 72, Died 1970. Address Palmyra. Ashes scattered at Fremantle.

FLORENCE (b. 1900) and FRED  (b. 1897)came to Australia in 1924 from port of London.
They arrived at Albany (King George Sound).
Winnifred was with them , born 1921.

I am not able to provide more details on this shipping, but others may.

It is possible one of the births listed here after 1924 is the 'missing' brother.
You may like to view the list in case you recoginise a familiar "family name" as often happens :D
