Alloa - birth & Marriage records

Hi,

I'm trying to help my friend who is unable to remember his father's birthdate.

His name is; Robert Reid Taylor LOVE  born ? May 1919 in Alloa.

He married ; Isabella "Haddon" DUNCAN in 1936/7 possibly Alloa.  "Haddon" may not be listed

If any one is able to give some firm dates I know my friend would
be very grateful

Alan I can't give you an exact date as image is unavailable to view on Scotlands People but I can confirm its 1915 in Alloa not 1919.  You can order an extract via Scotlands People but not sure how much they charge.

Robert married Isabella in Alloa in 1941 but again no image available.  I think with the newer dates the images aren't available but earlier stuff is normally available.

Sorry I couldn't get exact dates but hopefully this helps

Hi Alan,

Are you still looking for information on Robert Love and his family?

If so, his parents were George Love and Janet Brown Taylor who married 1910 in Alloa.

Robert's death entry on SP confirms his mother's maiden name as Taylor.
