1881 Census looking for Peter Markie / Markey

I am searching but unable to find Peter Markie in the 1881 Census
In 1891 Census he is Paisley Renfrewshire aged 33 born Coatbridge and married to Mary Helen Markie
in 1901 Census he is still in Paisley aged 43 but this time born Airdrie and now married to Agnes aged 20
I know its the same person by the marriage Certs.
Also i cannot find him in 1871 either !
his father should be Brian Markie who was born Coatbridge 1824 and married to Mary
any help on this family would be gratefull

Can't see Peter either in 1881.

Census says Kate was born Paisley
But in submitted file it says New Monklands (Airdrie) 1855
1855 was a good year for extra info. on certs. Kate's birth cert. will not only give you parent's marriage but also their place of birth.

My dad was Peter markie from paisley though I don't recognise any of all they names so it can't be him or my gramps who had the same name
