David Prosser - Llambeder, Radnorshire
« on: Monday 28 June 10 23:20 BST (UK) »
I am looking for the mother and father of my 4th Gt Grandfather David Prosser born abt. 1796. I have him in residence from 1841 census - 1871 census at Painscastle, Llambeder. His wife is a lady called Mary Pugh born abt 1797 in Loures Llowes, Radnorshire, Wales .

I cant seem to find his parents at all so some of your expertise are required... ;D

Mary's parents would be nice but wouldn't know where to start for her line either.

kind regards,

Tyrone

Hi Carole,

I looked at the original page and it does say Prosser not Presser. Who ever transcribed it didn't do a good job...lol

No mis-transcription change had been notified which is why I could not find him originally.  I have now notified the error and also the error in the spelling of his birthplace

Hi Carole,

I just had another look and I still think it says Prosser, the o who ever wrote the census looks a little smudged but I still think it is Prosser from what I can see? Maybe my eyes are worse than I thought...lol

It is Prosser which is why I have notified the mis-transcription.  The family members tie in with the 1841 entry
