Hi Ash,
Here is the Census entry of the Family in 1841 prior to coming to Australia;
Remember this is 1841 and not all the children that immigrated are born yet and relationships are not shown and ages rounded to nearest 5yrs for adults.

1841 Census
Gedney Dyke,
Gedney, Lincolnshire
HO107/607/10/Gedney

John DALTON, 65, Ag Lab
Elizabeth Dalton, 60
William Dalton, 20
Thomas CHESSON, 25, Ag lab
Sarah Chesson, 25
WILLIAM Chesson, 4
Elizabeth Chesson, 2
George Chesson, 2mths
All down as born in County.
Lucky for you they are living with Sarahs Parents which helps confirm Christening Entry.

We know Thomas was NOT born in Lincs from the Bisa entry.
He was born 1813 Shouldham, Norfolk;

Thomas CHESSON, Christened 04 April, 1813, All Saints, Shouldham, Norfolk
Parents, WILLIAM and ELIZABETH

Sarah DALTON, Christened 19 March 1815, St Mary Magdelene, Gedney, Lincs
Parents JOHN and ELIZABETH
( Both Sources FreeREG, Extracted Records)
Remember these are Christening dates and the Bisa Entry has Birth Dates.

Thomas CHESSON married Sarah DALTON, 19 July 1836, Gedney, Lincs
(Source, Extracted IGI, Familysearch)

Trish :)

FreeREG has only 2 Children to John/Elizabeth DALTON, Sarah and William  (who appears on 1841 Census)
IGI has 3, Extracted Record;
SARAH, 19 March 1815*
WILLIAM, 12 December 1817
SAMUEL, 28 January 1811
Now this is where it gets tricky. Given the  ages of John/Elizabeth one would think they married c 1800 and more children would have been born to them.
They could have children reg elsewhere in Lincs.

Possible Marriage FreeREG;
John DALTON, Bachelor
Elizabeth HADARD, Spinster
12 April 1802, St Mary Magdalene, Gedney, Lincolnshire
Witnesses, William and Ann PIDD

I will see what else I can find to confirm this, hopefully they are alive in 1851. ;)
