Marriage - where to look?
« on: Thursday 01 July 10 14:11 BST (UK) »
Annie Harlow was born in Roscommon in 1877 and at some point moved to England and married a William Wilson (born 1880) who was from West Derby, Liverpool.  She was Roman Catholic he was protestant.  So, do you think they may have gone back to Ireland to marry or got married in England?  I cannot actually find a marriage in England and am finding it hard to trace anything in Ireland.  Bit of a brick wall really.  Any help, greatly appreciated.

Hi Vogel,

Did you look at the pilotfamilysearch site - the following are listed but probably not relevant - too early and both in the US:

Annie Harlow & George Wilson 12.12.1878 Ohio
Anna Harley & Henry Wildon m.29.11.1887 Georgia

I had a quick look on ancestry and found the following:

Anna Harrall & William H. Wilson m.15.11.1898
in Daviess County, Indiana

Dorothy C Harlow & Wilson
Jan-Mar 1912 in Blean District, Kent.

Have you found them in 1911 census in England?  If they were there that census should list how many years married.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
