can anyone help plz i know im being thick here but is kelso scotland ? or is it newcastle i do know its on the borders but which side ???? reason being im trying to find a margaret lorimer(lorrimer) born kelso died in newcastle upon tyne .(1838 26th jan ) she was in a coaching accident on morpeth bridge either travelling to or from kelso visiting family . thanks in advance for any help given

Is this her date of death or her date of birth?

 im floating allover lol , this is her date of death . i dont have a birth date all i know is she is the second daughter to james lorimer (builder)

Do you have a copy of her death cert as that will show her age when she died which will give you a birthyear to go on

The IGI has one b 1788 Kelso - parents James and Jean nee Wilson but that would make her 50 when she died

Was she married at the time of her death as I can't find a death for that name on freebmd in 1838

i dont . just knew this hunting lol . i do know she was buried in westgate which is in newcastle but sadly due to vandilism and neglect there is nothing much left and is wild and over grown

well her husband was born in 1791 , which could be a possible they also had 6 children born between 1815 and 1826

Sorry - can you clarify what you mean?

If she died in January 1838 - it should be on the GRO index so  she didn't die as Margaret Lorimer but as Margaret ???

Can we have FULL info please re: her surname at death as it is impossible to help with so little info

sorry ,
margaret maiden name lorimer , she was mrried to a thomas oliver (1791-1857) she died on the 26th 1838. thyt had 6 children two of whom died before there father .adam 1815,jane 1818,james 1820,eliza 1822, thomas 1824 john 1826, all born in newcastle upon tyne
