How sad,she was one very brave and much admired woman who fought so many battles helping her husband with his terrible illness and then her own and so looking forward to visiting her place of birth, tragic.

Indi..from one fellow Brummie to another....rest in eternal peace in the the arms of your beloved husband.

Oh no!

I'd been trying to get in touch for weeks.  How sad!

Does anyone know Anjo's details?  I'll be in her hometown sometime soon and would love to make contact.

A very sad Arranroots  ;)

Just thought it might be fitting to post a link to Indi's blog about her late husband, John, for those who may not have had the opportunity to read it before.......may it be a lasting legacy to her strength of character and help others facing a similar situation:

How dreadfully sad to suddenly think of someone who was always so full of life, in the past tense. I know a lot of the friends Indi was close to were worried, but at the back of your mind you hoped she was in England.

It's hard to believe, I am so very sorry.

I kept saying to Lydart that she was probably still in the UK or something equally 'safe'. Like many others, I didn't want to think the worst, even though the last blog entry was way back in April and it seemed so unlikely that she would have stopped writing it.

Oh that was a shock, thanks for letting us know Lydart.

A well liked Rootschatter, our paths crossed from time to time, good night friend.
