This couple emigrated to USA arriving 14 May 1850 aboard  SS William Rathbone, with their children Elizabeth b 1844 and William b 1850.Stephen's occupation in England was Miller.

What happened after that?
I have never been able to find Stephen. IOn the 1855 Wisconsin Sate Census, Ann is living with (I think, the record on Family Search doesn't say) the two children - no Stephen. On the 1860 census ( Wisconsin, Dodge, Chester) there is a William Brackenberg aged 10 living with Thomas Gore (33) and Hannah Gore (28).
He is still with them in 1870, but now the town is Wisconsin, Fond du Lac, Waupun. In 1880, still Waupun, married to Mary (aged 25) no surname for her but born Apr 1854 New York. On 1895 and 1905 Wisconsin Sate Census St Croix, Kinnickinnic Town - apears to have been no children.

For Elizabeth, 1860 federal Census Wisconsin, Fond du Lac, Byron name is Elizabeth Brickenberry aged 16  b abt 1844 England living with John Parsons (71) Elizabeth Parsons (62) Alfred J Parson (18) John O'Connell (17) - not found in 1870. I think the Parsons were English also , I think Alfred is on Family Search US Census 1860 b 1844 England. I couldn't find a marriage for her on Family Search.

Grateful for any advice on the above.
Regards
Jan
