Hello Iam new on here could anyone help please,my ggreat aunt  id buried in Camberley but cant find her grave she is buried with military honours her name was Mary Simmons she died in 1895 age 56,Queen Victoria sent acoach for her to come to the palace for tea,due to her bravery in The Indian Mutiny .on her marrige cert it has 10th regt barracks by both names her husband John Simmons,thank you for any help you can give

Her death registration is in Farnham registration district

Deaths Sep 1895  Simmons  Mary  56  Farnham  2a 62

William G Simmons 15 Son Camberley Surrey
John Simmons 3 Grandson Camberley Surrey

 
Have you checked the parish registers for St Michael York Town Camberley?
Surrey History Centre at Woking hold the deposited church registers

according to the census,,she was born

1861  hull
1871 chatham,kent
1871 north america
1881 kent
cant find any mention of her act of bravery anywhere online.  ;)
