If you are interested my connection to the Beatties is my great grandmother Mary Wood Beattie 1892-1980 born in Angus.

Great great grandfather was William Beattie 1860-1939 also born in Angus, he married Jane Wood.

Three times great grandfather was James Beattie born 1830 in Fettercairn, Kincardhinshire. He married Barbara Fyfe.
