I've just stumbled upon this revived old thread.  :)

Recently had some family tree work done and found in 1911 census my family were listed as living in Ormonde Cottage, Worcestershire.

Julie, what was the name of the family living in Ormonde Cottage in 1911?

Added: Welcome to rootschat.  :)

Thanks for that Julie. I was going to look them up to see if I could narrow down the location of the house. Can you give further details of the family (eg full names dates and places of birth etc) to give me more to go on. Wood is such a common name.  :)

You can contact Nick Wood who started this thread by clicking on his name and sending him a Personal Message. He should get a notification that you have posted on his thread if he has set this up and if he still has the same email address. He doesn't seem to have logged in to rootschat for a few years.  :-\

The information I have in 1891 census is that Ormonde Cottage is located in Hanley Castle, Upton on Severn, Worcester.  Eliza Wood (57) is listed as head of the household with profession as baker.

In 1911 census the cottage is listed as being in Malvern Wells, with Harry Wood (38) as head of household.

Have you tried searching for the house? I would like to have a shot at it but if you have already found it there is no point me looking.  :D

I've done a Google search, but it may be the house has either been re-named or not there any more.  I wouldn't worry about spending too much time searching for it; I am new to family tree research and still trying to process all the information which a professional search has revealed!  But thank you all the same.

For info - Malvern Wells was included in the Hanley Castle census district. I will take a proper look later and see if I can find out more. Alternatively there is a very active Malvern History facebook group who would no doubt help if you are happy for me to share it there?
