Annie,
Hi please excuse previous post, fingers faster than brain !

Your Edwards registration papers  are in The Archive Centre  and for a small fee copies are otainable. I have seen the osiginals of these and they also have a small passport size b/w photo. so a rather nice item to have.

Also at same address is Louisa Mary Alexandrine  Muels  nee Traisnel
dob 14/2/1882.

Registration was a requirement during the occupation by the Germans.

If you need help or advise of how to obtain let me know.

I have reference #'s etc. -  there was a few of them - Muels that is ...! and I was wanting to order them -  but wanted to make sure first... ! D'you think it was just for registration or do you think they were going somewhere?

Annie,
I am certain that if they were here in order to be registered by the occupying forces then they would have remained on the island
The only way they may have left would have been through depotation following " crimes" against the German orders of the day and only a handful of daring souls managed to escape.
So all i in all it seems  worthwhile  following through,  for example looking for a will at a later date for any of the family members.

Good luckand let me know how you are getting along and if I can do anything. to help.
