German ancestors of the Rosenhain family
« on: Friday 30 July 10 03:36 BST (UK) »
Hi, I'm new to this so I need all the help I can get - please be gentle with me!

I am looking for any information about the German ancestors of the Rosenhain family who sailed from Bremen on 9th December,1849, to Adelaide, South Auatralia aboard the SS Pauline.

Sailing were Carl Ferdinand Rosenhain, Maria Rosenhain and Sophia Rosenhain. The family were believed to be from Liepzig. Both Carl and his father Johan were Locksmiths and Jewellers.

Any help would be wonderful please.

I also have this info about a Rosenhain family but nothing after 1648 or before 1450 I can only assume they are part of my Rosenhain family as the spelling is correct. I have only found this spelling in the region of Ortsfamilienbuch Memelland.
Does anyone have any ideas please? Where did they go??
