Hi,

What information are you looking for about Frederick and his siblings?  Do you know what his siblings names are?

Frederick got married in Bankstown, NSW and died in Randwick.

However, the only Frederick I can find on the electoral roll in the 1930s was living with Alice Adeline Cunningham.  It was in Bankstown, so maybe they lived together before they got married?

He's also the only cunningham death I can find whose parents were Ralph and Margaret.

If you tell me what you're after and a bit more info, I'll see if I can help.

Best wishes,

Jenni.

on the 1901 census of England
there is a Frederick Cunningham born Hebburn, Durham, England aged 5 father is Ralph Cunningham aged 43 a Shipwright born Byker Northumberland and mother is Margaret aged 40 born Hebburn Durham England.

He served for England in WW1 and was awarded the military Medal. When he enlisted his occupation was given as a Shipwright
This could be your man

Am wondering if either Alice Adeline or Frederick were married to someone else and being catholic didn't believe in divorce so  they didnt marry until the first spouse/husband died????

Hi Jenn,
That sounds very possible.

This may be RALPH marrying in England

Marriages Mar 1/4 1882
Cunningham, Ralph        S Shields
Vol 10a page 811
Same page
ENGLISH    Margaret Bell

I also see a RALPH CUNNINGHAM as a 27 year old on the 1881 English census.
He is a shipwright as is his father ,JAMES and born Northumberland Eng..

http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=census/search_census.asp

I cannot see much evidence of RALPH and MARGARET in Australia yet :(

Hi everyone that helps a lot I was wondering where the Cunninghams originally came from.  I am still looking for Olive A.A. Morris/Bartley.  She was
still around in l980 I think but I am waiting for a death on Alice Cunningham
in 20ll when I will be able to access it from the BDMS.  Thanks again.
