Hi,

I am looking for any information on a Mary Wolfendon/Wolfington who married a John Titterington. They had at least one son, called Edward (born circa 1840 +/- 10 yrs). They lived in N.Ireland.

Kind regards,

Sarah

Edward Titterington, son of John Titterington and Mary Wolfendon was my great great grandfather.  He was born in 1828.  Are you descended from Edward?

George died 1910
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1910/05414/4512886.pdf

It looks like George and Matilda married in 1855
The Cert isn't on IrishGenealogy to view yet but will probably be view-able on PRONI for a few credits.

Thank you for this reply..On their Marriage certificate  it says  the father is Andrew while another source says it was John ( son of  Richard(died 1816)andMary) who died in  London in 1829 .I was wondering if the mother remarried after John's death to Andrew Wolfenden . Could John be George's father?

Plenty of stuff in Wills and Deeds!
e.g.

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

Thank you for this article. I probably need to go back to PRONI and look at deeds and wills.
