Cerficate has arrived!

April 15th 1857

William Tailor aged 28 from Cardington
Father - George Tailor - labourer

Mary Beamond aged 18 from Cardington
Father - John Beamond - labourer

Witnesses - Charles Speake (x his mark)
                  Susan Beamond (x her mark)

William Tailor also made his mark (x) but there is no X next to Mary Beamond's name.
The fact that Taylor is spelt as 'Tailor' could be an error on the part of the person writing the certificate.

Gwynne,

Just spotted in your list of burial details that you asked me if I had details about Alice Taylor (later Caseley) burial.;

One of the daughters of William TAYLOR and Mary was Alice born c.1867.
Alice married at St Mary's church on 23 Aug 1885 to William CASELEY.
Do you have the marriage and burial details?

No I don't have the details. Was she also buried in Bridgnorth Cemetery?

Kind regards
Emma

Thanks Gywnne!

I'm also interested in the Lucy Taylor you mentioned earlier (buried 1874). Do you have her grave number?

There are a few other Taylor's that are of interest to me from looking at my records. If you have any information (particularly baptisms/marriages/burials) on these people I'd very much appreciate it;

 - Eliza Holmes (formerly Taylor) - 1869-1952 (born and died in Bridgnorth. Father William Taylor. Mother Mary
                                                   Beamond. Husband Robert Holmes 1871-?)

 - Thomas Taylor - 1857-? (Father William Taylor. Mother Mary Beamond. Wife. Emily Eliza or
                             Emma Eliza).
 - William Taylor – 1864 - ? (brother of Thomas above)

 - Jane Caseley (formerly Taylor) - 1860 - 1936 (Father William Taylor. Mother Mary Beamond. Husband Henry Caseley)

The following two people are brother and sister of William Taylor (1830-1877) who married Mary Beamond and whose burial you have provided me with.
We known their father was called George.
 - John Taylor - 1834-?
 - Mary Taylor - 1831 (unknown spouse)

If there are any George Taylor's that could be their father that you have records of that would be extremely helpful!

Thanks again Gwynne for taking the time to help me. It is very much appreciated! I also know that it takes time to check your records so I am aware that
you may not be able to fulfil my request straight away.

Kind regards
Emma

Thanks again for that Gwynne and also for the Seaward information you provided. Much appreciated. Do you know where I can get hold of a map of Bridgnorth Cemetery graves? Does one exist?

Emma,

I mentioned the plan of the cemetery graves in my reply No.15 on 6th Aug.

Until a few years ago, the A1 size plan was kept in Bridgnorth library but it has since been transferred to Shropshire Archives.
