You mean bricklayer Olaus Thv. Olsen in #9?

I would say it is not very likely, Olsen has been a very common surname for many, many years...

That's interesting Jan  as- from memory, I think Marie and Olava's father Ole Christensen worked at the local brickworks. At home I have a photo of the old brickworks, looks like a dreadfully dirty place to be employed. But those were the days.

Hi again Don!

I have compared the address books for 1913 and 1918.

An interesting detail is that the address Gjetemyrsv. 7 does not seem to exist in 1918....

There is however a worker Nicolai Martinsen living in Zetlitzgt. 1 in 1918.

I've also checked up on  my own Grandfather, it seems to be only the head of the household that's listed!

..we have to wait for the 1923-census, it is beeing uploaded in 10,000 people batches....

Thanks for that -  look forward to what you fin in the 1923 census. You are luck, here in NZ the Census records were destroyed and are not available. We do however have the Electoral Rolls which record for each electoral district the names of eligible voters. So this will exclude children below 21 for years up to about 1985 and below 18 since then.

I know the UK Electoral rolls are most helpful as all persons in the household are listed.
