birth court case
« on: Wednesday 11 August 10 23:07 BST (UK) »
Hi, can anyone tell me if i can get court records for a birth wrangle, it would be 1935/6, the birth was in He lensburg, but we think the court hearing was in Dunbarton where the father lived. Cheers, Cookie.

It's extremely unlikely that the court records would be available - the 100 year privacy limit is generally applied to these papers. An exemption may be made if you are the person concerned.

The court which would have heard the case would have been the Sheriff Court for the County which is in Dumbarton.
