i have a patrick butterly 1874-1953
and his father william butterly birthdate unknown
i think they may be from louth...as storys go
a long shot just wondering if it tallies with anybody out  there
about to start searching birthcerts etc
but just throwing this out first

 Name: Patrick Butterly
 Birth Date: 25 Aug 1876
 Birthplace: Louth, Ireland
 Father's Name: William Butterly
 Mother's Name: Mary Heeney
 Reference Number: v 12-1 p 489

The references can be used to help locate a civil record, which you can use to order a birth cert. This would show William's occupation, which might help confirm, or rule out, these possible matches.

one thing to note with the extracted records is that they are not complete - so there could be other Patrick Butterly's out there with father's name William.

but i presume he was a labourer
mind melt on the mothers name sorry
and those 3 children are bang on
the two girls ended up in new jersey
